Prayer for Micah Life

Daniel, a young man from the Micah Project, who now lives in the Isaiah House after having lived on the streets in Honduras wrote a beautiful prayer of blessing over Micah Life and we want to share it...

I know that the man and woman (his wife) who had the idea to start Micah Life are admirable people with noble hearts, with a great sense of humor, but at the same time passionate for the Lord...

I know that the lives that come to Micah Life will find the love of God in this new place; and there will be struggles just like we all have, there will be pain and many other things, but the most important thing is that God will be there with outstretched arms and with eyes of love, waiting like a gentleman to receive His children...

Men with dreams are many, but men with love for lost souls in the desert are few...

God on this beautiful night while I was scrolling through on my phone and found this page, I want to ask You to please be there with the small and great heroes who have been beaten up and betrayed by life. Who night after night are losing their lives, losing hope, suffering, and often don't even eat, because at one time I, too, was just like that...

But today I realize there is hope for them just like there is for us, Lord prepare the way. Prepare your children, Lord, tell them to hold on just a little bit longer because You are already doing Your work and You are doing it with love. Because Your Word says that everything in life will fade away: science, war, money, mourning and every bad thing, but love will never fade away because it does not vanish nor grow old, it is not easily angered...

But it is pure and genuine and it is the greatest. Lord bless, restore and redesign Your children to bring Your work to perfection...

Thank You God because many lives will be reached - those who are dying little by little in the midst of melancholy, pain, hunger, loneliness, and beatings. They are dying without knowing You, dying dreaming and thinking their life could have been better, dying crying out for an opportunity to live, crying out for a smile, a moment of happiness...

I know that my words are not enough and neither are the tears streaming down my face as I remember how terrible society can be - if it was for me, it is for them too.

For seeing us as scum, as trash, just because maybe we didn't have someone to defend us, for being orphans, for being addicted to a drug. But they don't know how much we have lost, they don't know this pain, they don't know what it is like to be born in the cradle of the streets. They don't know what it is like to eat out of the trash. They don't know and yet they hate us, they discriminate against us.

street_kid_praying.jpgI ask in Your Name Father that you carry this project in Your hands and in Your heart.

Amen...

And to you that is reading this, will you pray too that many lives will be restored for the Lord...

And i remind you that God calls us to love one another...
